Process
Taking refrigerators as an example: compressors are removed by hand and refrigerant and lubricating oil are recovered with dedicated equipment. The cabinets are then fed into automated equipment for crushing, pulverizing, magnetic separation (iron), air classification (foam) and eddy current separation (aluminum and copper). All by-products are then properly recycled or sent to licensed processors.

Dong Hui Energy
In line with Taiwan’s renewable energy policy, Dong Hui provides planning and design, installation, and operation and maintenance of solar power systems. Working as a photovoltaic energy service company, we lease or serve customers’ factory rooftops to install solar panels, which also insulate buildings and reduce air-conditioning use — a win-win. We are also planning to develop solar panel recycling.

Green Recycling
Located in Yangmei, Taoyuan, Green Recycling Co., Ltd. specializes in recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment. On a site of about 12,000 m², it uses safe, environmentally sound processing and resource sorting technology to turn waste home appliances and IT equipment into recycled copper, aluminum, iron and plastics. It was approved by the EPA as a subsidized recycler in 2018.
